I am an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Department of Design & Innovation at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University.

My research examines how digital technologies influence consumer behavior and decision-making. My interests include digital marketing, human–AI interaction, healthcare analytics, AI fairness, and digital platforms and regulation. I use field experiments and econometric methods to study these questions in collaboration with industry partners.

My work explores how the timing and design of digital interventions affect behavior, including responses to review requests, personalized nudges, and promotional offers. I also study how people respond to AI-assisted decisions and how regulatory changes affect participation in digital platforms.

My research has been published in the Journal of Marketing, Production and Operations Management, and the Journal of Medical Internet Research, among other journals. It has also been featured in Harvard Business Review and The Wall Street Journal.

Before joining Case Western Reserve University, I was an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I received my Ph.D. in Management Engineering from KAIST and my bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from POSTECH.

I teach marketing analytics, business programming, and quantitative research methods, with an emphasis on using data and analytical tools to address business questions.

Further details on my research and academic background are available in my publications and CV.
